An Adrenaline rush does affect things. But do you judge someone's physical strength by the things they do in desparate situations? No. You judge it by what they can do under normal circumstances. My shields actually do not vary that much in strength unless I am under constant attack, then they are being worn down and I have to actively work to keep them at their baseline strength. There comes a point when just 'muscling it' psionically becomes less effective. Like my physical fighting style, my psionic defenses rely more on technique than raw power, though raw energy does help.

PS I was using myself as an example, becuase I can only speak difinitively about what I am doing.

Yes, you can change the title of a thread by modifying the original post's subject line. Click modify and change the text in the "Subject:" box.
On to other things. Look into force bubbles. If you can use telepathy you can throw an energy ball that contains a telepathic message to get someone's attention. If you can't use any form of tp, this is likely to fail. I've seen it happen. I believe the original topic would best be rephrased as "Strength of Force-bubble" or "Strength of Force-bubble Shields". Let us focus on that topic for now. I believe we have another thread that discusses general strength in psionics and general strength of shields. If you cannot find such a thread feel free to start one for these discdussions.

f If you go back to what does strengthen your shield, I think it depends on your will's power. So it might not be always as strong as it should be. Maybe if you're in real trouble then your shield works efficiently than while practicing. Right? So you mean its like adrinalin. He he... So in a situation where there is a bullet flying into my forehead its gona stop. Is that what you ment ?(He he, its like Matrix ) Wait a minute?! Grounding i thought is geting rid of energy AND GETING energy from a bigger source... Hmmm... I remember reading about grounding but where...

No. I mean that you can strengthen your defenses beyond what was normal. That doesn't mean you're going to step into a comic and start acting like Colossus or Jean Grey from the Xmen. I strongly recomend you smack yourself back into reality and OUT of commic books. Stop twisting words to say what you want them to say and cope with reality.
Grounding is anchoring yourself in a point outside of yourself NOT to gain energy. NOT to gain energy. NOT TO GAIN ENERGY. Quite the inverse. Grounding GETS RID OF energy. Do I need to say it again? Grounding GETS RID OF ENERGY. Why? Because the energy that grounding gets rid of can litterally shatter your mind. Get it? Boom. Bye bye. Here's your straight jacket. Frankly, every article I have read to date, that suggests getting enregy from the earth or air or whatever has been so full of metaphysical crap it is about as credible as the flat earth society.

I dont read comcs... But I'am still in the dreamworld (I'am not, just kidding). OK that answers my question, NO ONE EVER MADE A FORCE SHIELD THAT COULD STOP A BULET . Should the thread be closed? P.S. So not every article of Psioncs you can trust...

As far as we know NO, no one has bounced bullets with a shield. And there are many articles you cannot trust. There are also articles you have to learn to read through and learn to piece together where people are stating opinion as fact or conclusions as observations. So you have to learn to read carefully, and take what you can. There are many articles that have many flaws, but also have very good things within them, if you can read through carefully to find it.

Yeah, deciphering rediculous claims or strategies versus finding the ones that are worthwhile to try is completely up to your own common sense. If someone said they've used telekinesis to make themselves fly off the Empire State Building, then I don't suggest you try that, just as I don't suggest you try shooting your shields to see whether the bullets bounce off or not.
We can't tell you what to believe and what not to believe, we can only advise you what we think. It's your job to ask yourself "Is this a reasonable claim/method/experiment?"

That's the kind of thing that an awkward silence follows before someone says "oh".

Depends, if your hands are relatively close to it, most people are more likely to assume you're nudging it with a finger than using TK.

Confuded, it's alright. It was more of just a random statement than anything else. I was simply commenting on the fact that the answer was so simple. Like I was attempting to picture the dialogue in my head. Meh... don't worry about it. It was a silly post at that.

TK level 0 or not you can still attempt to roll a pencil. I do not say that you will succeed, but I have read many stories of people who were able to affect things other than a psiwheel while begininers. If you are that bored with the psiwheel, it won't hurt anything to try something different.

Actualy alot of articles say that when you practice TK and still dont see results you are still training your mind in TK... (if that was cler enough) .
