Those are more mental blocks, Goliath.
What about blindness/deafness psiboy? There are many places that those things can 'break'. If the retina doesn't function, then the eyes don't work. There are several places in the ear that things can 'break'. We aren't familiar enough with whatever biological interactions there may be to say 'oh you just haven't used it enough'. There are too many possibilities to break. Cells and DNA are suceptable to damage and change. Yes, most people can't because they don't... but there are people who just... can't. (people incapable of boiling water without disaster are relatively rare.) You do make a good point.

I barely understood any of the middle of that paragraph... all i understood was "more mental blocks" and "you make a good point" and "the devils advocate" can you please reword your paragraph? Or actually i really dont care, if you have some spare time, it would be nice, but you dont have to.

We do not know enough about the biological causes and mechanism behind psionics to categorically say something is "broken" in most cases. There are too many complicated places that things MIGHT go wrong, depending on which theory of 'what makes psionics work' you subscribe to; however, we have enough circumstantial evidence to say that something CAN catastrophically break somewhere on the biological end, that would prevent someone from ever using psionics no matter how much they practiced.

This is exactly where I had wanted this discussion to end up. Thanks for everyone who contributed.
