Greetings Everybody I didn't know where top place this so since im new I just place it here.
What I tend to do when I meditate is listen to music, some people find it way too distracting and it can be at times. When I say I listen to music its more of listening to a single beat as in the bass drum or a single instrument where theres a note or series of notes that repeat. I zone out and just focus on that one note and eventually I zone out completely which helps with a lot of my pratice, mainly PK or TK however you see it, anyways if anybody else has a technique I would like to here it thank you.

The meditation that I practice is more for mental control and thought clarity sometimes it is repeating a chant that will allow my mind to focus on it and not on other things. Other times it is sitting quietly and clearing my mind of thought then controlling what thoughts I do allow myself to have. I strongly advise against clearing your mind and then opening it to whatever comes to mind. Bad bad practice in my experience.
