A'ight so I've been doing psi for about two days now, and I'm wondering what to do next. I can make a psi ball with or without my eyes open, with any part of my body, and put it down if I pick it up quickly. I can't shape, program, or move things with psi balls, or make very substantial ones (it varies from marshmallow to magnetic field consistency), I also can't control the size very well (they just become very big and weak). I can sometimes make a psi ball without using my body.
So what do I do next? What's the next easy step? Should I focus on making them more substantial and solid, or try moving things with them? Thanks!

I'd say work on shelling, since you said you can't put it down for long and have it stay together.

alright.. but it seems to me shelling should come after some preliminary programming.. is that true?

Actually, no. Some of the most basic programming is part of shelling and that should be the next step. If you can't get the psiball to hold together for anylength of time, then programming the energy is a wasted effort

I'll work on getting it to stay together.. and making it without my hands

Maybe you should work on having more control over your psi balls before you move on to making them outside of your hands. Don't try to do so much at once that you discourage yourself. Smaller steps should keep you motivated.

people say a lot about motivation, but I don't get it. I'm plenty motivated, the only problem is belief, and I got that a while ago. A mod on another forum (and now one of my mentors) told me I shouldn't get used to using my hands, which makes sense. You don't only have to practice one thing at once, you can practice a couple every day, it doesn't matter if one's harder.
Sry this is while ago, so I've gotten it working without my hands a bit. They're small, but there.

Great! I'm glad to hear that. It is nice when things go well in training. ~Wolf

Nice to have you squid, and I wouldn't worry about the psi-wheel. TK is very different from energy manipulation. But seeing as this is a little off topic, let us get back to the topic at hand...
robot, the best thing i've noticed with energy manipulation is to do what comes naturally. yes, it is very good not to rely on your hands, and knowing how to do things without moving is very usefull (especially if you're in public). But don't let that completly dissuade you. Teaching yourself to trigger different constructs and manipulation techniques to different hand or body motions can be very effective and allow for more precise control then a completly abstract mental command. I'd just recommend working with all possibilities and focusing on what is natural for you.
