Hello everyone, I'm a new member at this board.
First, I'd like to start off by saying that I have zero (really, zero) experience in psi. My interest in this field has grown alot ever since I took a course in modern physics a couple of months ago. From what I gather, there's no room for skepticism here - and I can understand that - these skills require extreme discipline.
As an engineer, I have an overwhelming need to look at logic and what makes sense, using numbers, figures, etc. Never-the-less, I have a respect for what psionics are capable of and I'm interested in learning too. I need to stress that - I don't doubt - I have a strong and firm belief in psi being real - although it's a rather unexplored science and does indeed require a great deal of patience and open-mindedness.
Alright, I'll get straight to it; A couple of weeks ago, I noticed something peculiar about myself. No no, I wasn't growing an 11th toe or anything like that. =)
I have, for the lack of better words - an ability (and feel free to contradict this, as I don't really know what it is) to provoke a surge through my body. I know, this sounds really weird, but hear me out. I'm really curious as to what this might be or if it by any chance is related to anything psionical. Basically, I can "squeeze" something in the back of my head, right where the neck ends (i.e. the spine connects with the skull). This creates a very strong surge that originates from the part I just described and expands downwards through the spine, into the lower back.
It feels like quite a rush and it's refreshing. I can do this whenever I want, as much as I want and with no side-effects. I have trouble sleeping due to stress and schoolwork, so I occasionally feel sleepy during class. Whenever I do this - usually 5 times - I feel refreshed and the fatigue is gone for a good 3 or so hours, sometimes more.
It's not easy to describe this sensation, but it's very quick, it sometimes causes some smaller muscle movements in the back, no pain, refreshing - sort of like a very short, but intense rush of adrenaline. The last description is probably the closest to what I'm experiencing.
So, basically, does anyone here have a clue or suggestion as to what this might be? Any idea is a good one, even the honest ones.
Thanks for reading.
