hi, i am new to psionics as a whole, now i have a really good imagination i can see and hear things in my head as i read about them, if someone was to say apple, a picture of an apple will pop into my head, now i was reading some articles and they were saying to visualize the energy (can it be in any shape or colour, or does it have a specific look?), i'm reading the ebook on psipog.net and the first exercise is to visualize energy in your abdomen, now i will be able to do this but i don't know which point of view i have to look at it from, should i look at it from my own viewpoint (looking down at the energy in my abdomen like a first person view) or looking at my abdomen from someone else's point of view (looking straight at my abdomen like a third person viewpoint).
and should i use the same viewpoint for doing anything related to psionics and things like meditation and astral travel
thank you SM

For me, first person works the best for most things. I have known others to have success with other perspectives, so it is really what is most comfortable for you and makes the most logical sense to you.

I personally find that closing your eyes and imagining it is easier and less distracting (so third person) but keeping them open and focusing on a point makes it a helluva lot more accurate

You'd have done better to put this into a separate thread. And no you're not doing anything wrong. I don't typically get a physical sensation at all with my psiballs. I just know where they are. Some people get a magnetic repulsion (that is the feeling of putting the north poles of two magnets together) others get a tingly feeling. The tingly feeling, warmth, and repulsion seem to be the three most common, but cold isn't in any way wrong

In short: It varies from person to person. Do as you feel and think is right (just don't go too far...) For me, I just tried to feel it instead of visualizing it. Well, and it worked . ~confuded
