Hello Everyone, My Name's Dylan, and as you all know, I'm new here.
I stumbled upon this site looking for a place to help further me in developing my 'abilities' (In lack of a better term), and this seemed like the right place to try.
I've been studying electricity in the human body, electromagnetics, magnetic fields and the such, because, I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but I've been doing some really wierd stuff lately. Examples are: I can screw with speakers hardcore, mostly on cellphones (But also on more largescale speakers, such as the one's in my highschool's gym, but that only worked a few times), making them freak out in a type of 'honking' (Deemed honking by another person, not myself), And being able to completely overtake most with complete static. I've also found out I generate more than the average amount of electricity from my body, making myself able to actually statically shock people by contact, and also creating a 'touchable' static field around my body.
All of this just started happening, so I was wondering, maybe with the right studies and mentoring from others, something even cooler could come out of this.
Thank you all for reading my rambling, and I hope someone won't mind trying to help me!

Sounds like you're dealing at least a little in Telekinesis, though you seem to move electrons more than objects. There is something called 'geisting' that is spontaneous uncontrolled use of TK (typically to throw objects around). You may be doing this with electronics... you also may be adding together a string of perfectly normal coincidences. I recommend continuing your observations and do not panic. If it's TK, you can learn to control it. If it's just random chance it'll go away on it's own.

Hello Dylan. Geisting in the form of accidently messing with electrical things is not that uncommon (and often really annoying once the novelty wears off, trust me on that). If you're doing it deliberately only at the moment, that's likely to be less of a problem though. Keep an eye on what's happening, as DA said may be either coincidence or pk related. There was an article up at upc (which is temporarily down) that was on messing with the signal (increasing/decreasing) on a cell phone, which you should be able to pick up as something else to go on with (and can be a useful use of pk as well).
As far as I'm aware, static electricity hasn't been linked to psi functioning.

Hmmmm. Thank You everyone. And to Jaci and DA: I don't think that it's coincidence, seeing as I am in control of it, being able to turn it on and off at will. But, I will keep up in observing, and I'll update you all if you'd like.
I think that if I understood what I was doing, it would be alot easier to learn more things, but I'm really not sure how this kinda stuff works, so, well, I guess that why I'm here! lol.
That article you're talking about Jaci, if you wouldn't mind, you should give me the link when it's up again.
Thank you all!

I'd definitely like updates. I wish I could help you more but PK/TK is not my strong point by any stretch. I can argue theory all day long, but you need practicality. I'll help as I can, but I know my limitations!

Well thank you very much for doing what you can, and I will keep you updated as things happen. Is there anyone on here with similar... 'abilities'.. *Can't think of a good word*

Life has eaten many of our solid TK'rs, unfortunately. *misses No_One2000* I don't recall off the top of my head who the current 'go to' people are. I know Stony's done some with it but I'm not sure how much. The same with Innerfire. (I know I"m forgetting some people, but I can't for the life of me put a name on them. I'll let you know if I think of them before they identify themselves!)

I don't deserve mention when it comes to PK The best I can do is still within the realm of chance/enviromental factors, although some things I've done have pushed that a bit, but still, I wouldn't say I'm good with PK.

Well, if someone does identify themselves, that would be very nice of them!
To DA: I haven't really had time lately to try much, but I did a couple things today that I thought *might* deserve mentioning. Do you know the sound a speaker makes when like, a cellphone or something goes off near it? Well, the speakers on my other computer where turned of (Completely), and I was still able to make a noise like that through them, only louder. At first, I thought something was just up, but I was able to keep doing it. And it's not that they just had the volume turned down, they didn't have power to them or anything...
Second, I was trying something that I already read on this site was considered stupid, and I though I was stupid for trying it myself, but, I tried lighting up a light-bulb. And no, it didn't work, but it gave me another idea, so I plugged it back in and turned it on. After that, I was able to slightly change the intensity of the light, dimming it and brightening it to a small degree.
And don't get me wrong, this stuff is all really cool that's happening, but I really wish I understood it better. It would be nice to be able to learn or extend my abilities so I wouldn't just be the kid who can make goofy noises with speakers. lol.

@ Dantalion
That distinct beeping sound when a cellphone interferes with speakers? Hmm, seems like you're just like that guy I saw in one of Discovery Channel's documentaries who can affect electronics around his body due to an odd electric/magnetic aura around him. He can also make light bulbs light up or go crazy bright and dim. Your case sounds a lot like his.
BTW, I've also had several cases where me, and the other person as well, gets a shocked when we get in contact. I got to know since the other person also acknowledges the shock. I'm betting that those are only coincidences and were created by environmental factors. No offense to you, but I wouldn't wanna be like you. It must be really cool and all but it's got to suck if people get shocked by touching me (thus avoiding me) and screwing up electronics (costing me $$$).
I really think you should have someone pro here, like DA, to scan you or something like that. If anyone, it's her that would know what to do after detecting some anomalies or something. Just think of it as a visiting a doctor.

While some of it could be static electricity (like the getting zapped when you shake your friend's hand or flip a light switch after petting the cat.) Some of it also could be a form of TK. And while, for the most part, people don't turn on and off light bulbs with their mind, if you can mess with the electrons it is theoretically possible. That being said messing with electricity should be done with caution, I don't want you to be the first to discover the psionic equivalent of sticking a fork in a light socket! Also note: I am the Devil's Advocate here. Sometimes I will poke holes in theories and statements I agree with because there are holes there that need to be worked through and when they are they make our knowledge more complete. ~The Devil's Advocate
