Yes, I can. I've personally kicked the posterior, both physically AND psionically of people with more raw power at their disposal. Trying to overcome physical or psionic leverage with raw power is VERY difficult. And frankly you can deflect raw power with VERY minimal effort if there is no skill behind it! Actually the more power and force behind something the more change even a tiny deflection will make in the over all impact. There are psionic eqivilents to tangental forces and side stepping. And if you're pushing THAT hard against something you better hope it doesn't suddenly give or you're going to fall flat on your psionic face. Seems you haven't learned anything in your time away.

I sense both parties getting testy, so I'm suggesting in a non-staff tone that perhaps you move this to Debate and Discussion before the argument starts getting more petty.

All I'm saying, Leek is that if you want a successful argument that will benefit you as well as other members, the meat of the argument should focus on the psionics, not the technical stuff, like "no combat allowed" and "you definitely just spelt four words wrong". I'm not saying you said the second one, I'm just giving a common example. Try to defend your ideas instead of attacking petty parts of the opponent in a debate. Otherwise, you lose the debate before you even make your counterpoints.



And remember, I'm not trying to put you or anyone down. I'm trying to help make the discussion run a little more smoothly. I'm not taking any sides.

Leek: It's up to you where you wish to continue the discussion. All /I/ ask is you actually stick to topic. And please, re-read the rules before you cry 'foul'. The rules have been updated and expanded upon since the last time you were on this forum.

TC: Thank you for your appraisal and your tact. I will wait for Leek's decision on that part of the topic. I'm willing to continue this here or there, so it boils down to his preference.
