Hi, I'm really new to psi, and I've just found out about it, but I have researched making psi balls for a while, and when I try to envision psi forming in my stomach or abs, I don't feel anything, at all. When I envision it moving up my chest, I don't feel anything. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips, or some ideas on how I can visualize it. Thanks

Sean's approach with the abs pooling thing has worked for some people but been absolutely useless for others. You might be in the second category, for now forget about that. This article I've looked over and is similar but has a better explanation and style overall: www.psionline.org/2007/10/newbies-guide-to-psiball.htmlGo read and try that.

And if innerfire's suggestion doesn't work, then there might be a need of developing your sences. You are maybe making a psi ball and moving psi, but can't feel it. BUT first, try what innerfire said. He has a higher level of psionics and knows way more than i do... Good luck! Hapy to see the newbie section is a bit active .

Man, I don't Know what my problem is. No matter how hard I try, I can't Feel anything, at all. I envision it, I think about it, but maybe thats my problem? All I do is make thoughts, like I think that I have energy inside of me, but I don't In reality, it doesnt appear. I try and make it appear, I try and visualize it coming to my body in some way, but I feel nothing, maybe I just cant do it?

You might be trying too hard and too fast, not everyone gets this initially, and the cases of people that are actually incapable of psionics are incredibly rare.
Just take it at a healthy pace and keep practicing for a little bit, we'll go from there.

I'm sorry, Im not trying to whine, or be annoying but I can't feel anything.
Its like nothing is there, I try the things where you are supposed to feel the heat of your body and move it, I dont feel heat, is this normal too?

What it sounds like is that you have a pre-scripted notion of what is going to happen in your head and it's creating a mental block and then you get frustrated and lose concentration. It takes a large percentage of your focus to do psi so you can't waste a whole lot of brain capacity on anything else. The method you mention is just that, a method, not holy writ. Try experimenting, see what works for you. You're not necessarily going to 'feel' the energy moving through you, people experience psi in different ways. The problem is you think you will feel it therefore you are stopping yourself. Mental blocks seem to be the biggest problem with newcomers. Relax and look at it if it were a game, a fun little experiment, if you do it right you should feel vaguely surprised when you get it right. Don't assume how it will go. Also, try different visualizations, drawing energy from elsewhere, practice some pre-beginner methods and try to get your whole brain involved. Don't just imagine it moving, really detail it, see it clearly, conjure a feeling to mind you have experienced, whatever you think psi should feel like and when you imagine the psi moving, imagine that part of your body feels that way, move the feeling with it, maybe you can hear it too, or even smell it?! Most importantly however don't just give up. I feel completely unqualified to say this because I didn't have to work for my psionic abilities but sometimes it takes a lot of work so just keep going at it! Oh and most important of all DON'T DOUBT YOURSELF. The first thing you need to do is believe it will work like you are convinced that if you sat down on the couch it would feel soft, not like metal (weird analogy ). Believing it's real is quite possibly the hardest step (this I do have experience with) Good luck ;D

Yeah I'm trying. So, what you guys mean I have to do, is try and not think about it? Like you think my problem is that I read so much about it, I expect it and do not feel it? So far I might I've felt it, but I really dont think so.
But, anyway any suggestions on how I can fix this mental block? I really do beleive in psi, but maybe I get too excited or something? This is actualy the first time I've ever heard of psionics, the psi ball is supposed to be the easiest thing to learn.
From what I've gathered, It doesnt matter what you interpret psi as right? As long as it's energy related?
What I do, is imagine the psi gathering form a source, like lighting striking earth and absorbing into me, then I try and visualize it shocking through me, but the way I see it, is when little kids play dragonball z, you know? Like you think you can see it, and pretend you can. And all I know is at that step there should be some indication that its there, but there isnt. But, I suppose I will just have to calm down, dont get excited, and just try and be surprised?

Em... Well draming energy from the groud is not correct. There isnt any to draw... Grouding however, is used to get rid of anrgy, send it off to earth.
