Hmmm... When it comes to telling parents i must say that it varies from one case to another. For example, my mother accepted my psionic behavior as a 'passing phase', for sake of our relationship i didn't argue with her. As for my father, well i knew he wouldn't take it all to well, so i didn't even tell him (hes not around much so he doesn't really know whats going on in his own house , nothing bad mind you ). If anyone should know your parents, it should be you, if its too difficult to find a 'perfect moment' then just don't tell them, however if it is that important to you that your parents should know, my only advice would be to take it one step at a time. People (parents especially) don't like changes... As for proof, if your parents wont believe you, proofs wont be any good I'm afraid, they just wont do the trick ( thats just my opinion though). Psionics is considered to be a branch of paganism(I've read that somewhere, its not necessarily true) , however psionics is more science oriented, therefore its not witchcraft nor Magick, and in some cases its vaguely considered a religion. But as i said, its more science oriented, so you need not worry whether it will conflict with your religion... Its 1 am, i should really be getting some sleep, i hope I've helped .

Psionics is NOT, in and of itself, paganism not even a branch of paganism. There are some people who believe that there is no difference between psionics and some of the rituals of Paganism. There are some people who believe that all religions in the world are the same and/or that the world is flat. Psionics is not magick. I've had to deal with both extensively and frankly it carries an entirely different energy signature. General shields against Psi do not protect as well against magick, you have to specifically program them to handle that type of energy. It is a skill, and in some cases a talent as much as having a knack for leadership, math, engineering, or drawing are natural talents.

As I've said its not necessarily true, my apologies for the confusion...

No worries, it just needed to be cleared up. It is a misconception I would rather not perpetuate.

Dont show your parents, my personal advice
and dont try to show evidence, most people will find some bullsh*t reason why that happened, or you'll just freak out and it wont happen, one of those 2

While jumping straight in is usually a bad idea... the theories can be broached much more easily. "Hey, this topic came up in discussion the other day, and I was wondering what you thought about the possibility of X, Y, or Z actually happening? We heard people were actually doing real research on the subject." That puts it on an academic level and should tell you VERY quickly how your parents feel about the issue, without committing yourself to anything drastic.

That's your prerogative. Personally, what DA has suggested has been tried and proved effective in multiple situations by multiple people that I know personally.
(Please try to use proper grammar and capitalization. My daughter's spelling may not be as polished, but her grammar is better and she is a mere third-grader.)

I have Just simply asked them "do you belive in the paranormal", then arter 10-15 minutes we got to psi. My parents were thrilled. Yours might not be. So just be ready for any reaction when you do tell them.

Meh, it's up to you...I would personally wait until I had some sort of physical proof (ie, TK) before telling them, that way they know it isn't all in my head, but I guess if your parents are open to this sort of thing then it works.

I repeat: anything we can do, stage magicians and con artists have been faking for ages. "Proof" is pretty worthless if the person it's being 'proven' to isn't open to it in the first place. And in some extreme cases it can be seen as 'proof' of entirely the wrong sort and can lead to very unpleasant backlash. It is best to approach from a neutral stand point first. That way explosions can be mitigated more easily by dismissing it as just theory and not bringing it up again.
