Okay I'll start off by giving you the links Psionic Twist WebsitePsionic Twist ForumsRight now we have a few articles, but I still intend to have tons when I'm finished. We will be getting a new header/logo very very soon ^^! I'm hoping to be able to focus on energy manipulation and different types of kinetic abilities with this site. I have written all the articles from the top of my head so far, tho even I can look in there and recognize 1 or 2 words used by psipog, since I've read there articles over and over again to perfect my own techniques. I will also be adding my own ways of energy manipulation, etc. Aside from having an immense amount of data about energy manipulation and different types of kinetics, I am hoping that I can also get lots and lots of users! xD It would be just so awesome if I could have a great community starting out there. And thirdly, my goal not only with this site but also altogether is to raise awareness of psionics to nons, and police; because I think that it is extremely said that many missing persons cases go unsolved because everyone too skeptic to higher a rver. I'm also doing a speech about this in 2 weeks to my middle school. I'm not expecting much, just wanting to put that word "psionics" out there in their minds, and hopefully get a few curious googlers. We're also looking for some experienced admins that can dedicate some time to helping increase activity in our forums, help with articles in the site/blog, etc. If you have some good experience in psionics, particularly energy minipulation and types of kinetics, or just telep/emp/rv, obes etc. Anything really, please sign up for an account on the forums and pm me there ^_^! Anyhow, I know it's not very good, but it's so far my best, and I will do my best and apply myself to work on it and make it better, please don't hesitate to comment or be our first forum member xD! Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, Kody

Why are you advertising an incomplete site? It's one thing to contact people who might be able to or interested in helping you. If you want to be taken seriously this is NOT the way to do it. Neither is your rambling post likely to encourage anyone at all to take you seriously. I hope your articles are better put together, better organized, and all together better thought out. Also insulting people by relegating telepathy, empathy, and other similar skills to 'well if you just have' with the implication of "we'll put up with you." Probably not your intention but you really need to work on your presentation.
I happen to be an Empath and am quite good with Energy Manipulation, and if you are setting the tone for the site (which it seem undeniable you are), it seems like it would be very much a waste of my limited time. If I go to a different site it's going to be one that at least attempts to put a professional level of polish on professional goals, not wild aspirations built on fluff. That's how you read. If you want to attract skilled, serious psions, you have to realize most of us have a great deal on our plates, and we have typically seen one starry idealistic site after another flare up and fade out because there wasn't enough substance to sustain it. Or we wind up running things when the owner looses interest, or get driven off because the owner doesn't like having more experienced people 'helping' or fears loss of control or even just doesn't care about the people who are making the site work because they have an Idea (tm) and because it is theirs it must be perfect. You're going to have a hard time convincing people to even look at your site except in emergency circumstances. ("emergency" being defined as "gack this site is cratering, Mine's not fully up yet, but it's better than nothing") And even there it's HARD.

"...our free forum..." ans since when do you have to pay for forum access?
The blog does not seem very serious. I judge by looking at the forist post you have made... I agree with everything DA had mentioned.
Yet again, since when do we require ANOTHER forum and community? Don't we have a shortage of people anyway and good stable communities to join?
Please take no offense, we are just trying to help.

I'm not going to just advertise when all the articles are finished; because I can get a head start right now, also it's not like you can expect me to finish all the articles by myself, we all have our areas of expertise so I advertised on here hoping to find someone interested and experienced enough to help me along with it.

Ugh! WordPress is blogging software! It is not a CMS (Content Management System). Using a blog interface for a site makes it look bad. I can recognize the layout of the software (I am VERY computer savy).
As far as DA goes, I think it was a bit harsh. The whole thing is about the purpose of the site and the audience. If a person wants their own little space on the web along with a way to express what they know, I don't care if it looks like crap. In that aspect, it would be a blog, so I guess your choice in the software is okay, however, I still think it should not be used as the mainsite. Not everyone is extremely knowledgeable in the area and not everyone needs to be to express themselves and everyone can learn something from someone sometime.
That is the beauty of the internet, which is also its bane, because you get a person's view on the info, their interpretation, and their limitation, so you also get a lot of things which may not be "true" or "accurate".
So what exactly are we judging the site on? What is the purpose of the site? Is it just your own space on the web to post your ideas and experiences? Is it for networking? Is it for networking with people who share the experiences that you post, so a site for a close group of associates? Is it for accurate information? To teach in an accurate way? If that is the case, then it needs to be tweaked, well more than tweaked.
Blogging software for a site that is more than a blog is VERY bad. I hand coded my site, but got lazy, so I used a CMS called Joomla.
Considering your age, and level of experience with web design and psionics, the site is just fine, however, understand that older and more experienced people won't really take it seriously.
I would say that I could help out, because I am web designer (I actually am a web consultant for an agency called ADC), but I do charge, and I have an invoicing system in which I charge by function, not the entire job, because different functions require different amounts of time, and I won't charge for the time directly, because that can vary. Also, I don't have the time, for I am juggling too many projects at the moment.
An example of a Joomla! based site is in my signature. I would offer to help with the articles, but I haven't even uploaded my new articles to my site yet, and I would like all of my material to stay on my site, so I wouldn't be donating any of those. Also, I don't have much time to write one for you.
Drupal is also a good CMS. PsionicsOnline is done in Drupal. Media Wiki is good for some stuff, if your site is just informative. Vsoceity runs off of that. ThePsiWorld is run through some CMS system that Apollo might have written himself. This is done off of Blogger, which, in my opinion, is not VERY good at all. It is worse than using WordPress. My site, on my sig, is done in Joomla. Look into one of those.
Generally, the forums are either SMF (Simple Machines) or Phpbb. You can google them and how to install them for your forum, even though your forum looks to be phpbb based.

Thanks for that constructive criticism, I really learned quite a bit to be honest. I'm probably going to move the site to a new host now, using a CMS. Or I might just only have the forum and put my articles in there! ^o^, so far all our energy manipulation articles are already there so :3! I like the way psionslayer looks, but I have like nooo money, except a couple cents in my penny jar (not an exageration) but I really appreciate your constructive criticism., Thanks, Kody

Looking good. That is the host I use, by the way. I like the layout, but, it needs content now. Let me know if you need help with the content. That is a VERY good host. They support ALOT of dynamic features, so you can do ALOT of things with your site if you want. I MAY be able to help out with the content. Also, you might want to change your intro. A lot of people disagree that magick is psionics, and a professional site on psionics shouldn't really focus on psionics unless it is a type of mixed site.
To be truthfully honest, the articles seem generic and not detailed, so it didn't catch me attention, but, I can help out if you want. My personal life is just so hectic at the moment.

I would LOVE to have your help!!! If you want to just sign up for our forums I'll make you a mod so you can go in the locked guide topic I made and edit/post your own :3. Then I can put them on the site, you'd get all the credits of course! If all else fails I can just make you an admin account on the site x3
