Alright, here's some basic protocol to determine what does and does not belong in this forum.
Let's say you're in a post about psiball creation. PersonA posts something using his idea of how psi works. PersonB says "no, I dont agree with that."
Instead of derailing the initial question, PersonA, PersonB, or a Mod will say "Hey guys, let's take this to Discussion and Debate (or they may say just D&D)"
There, you will make a new post with an appropriate title. (ex. the original post, or what your arguing about or "personA vs. personB" or something.) Copy and paste the first posts of the argument into the thread and just continue from there.
This forum doesn't have a "split topic" feature, so this is what we're stuck doing.
If anything else needs to be explained, post it in this thread and I'll answer your question.

That depends, thus far, apart from the initial issues, we've stayed on topic and it hasn't gotten heated. Though I do anticipate spending a great deal of time here.
Warning to all involved. Here is where I keep the heavy artillery.

Should the portions of the previous thread that were copied and reposted here be deleted from the other thread?
I'll post more questions as I think of them. It seems rather clear to me though.

Yes, they should be removed after both parties begin posting in D&D. You dont want to delete a thread and then have someone go "uh...WHERE IS IT ALL"

OK. Gotcha. Thanks. and if it is just a portion of the thread that got derailed only those specific posts will be removed, of course, not the whole thread.

MIght I request that a reference be placed in to the D&D topic in the origional, just for cross corrolation purposes?

Sure. If we can clearly specify which part of the topic was moved to D&D....that is going to be the most challenging task, in my opinion.

Again, Confuded, this post is exactly 3 months old. It would be best to leave this thread alone. It's here simply to state what goes into the D&D section. Please check the dates on the threads before posting.
