Ok, simple answer: Physical contact doesn't USUALLY harm a construct. More realistic answer: Physical contact can have an impact on a construct, especially one that does not have firm programing. For Psiballs, I haven't noticed much problem, but I have had all kinds of trouble when people physically get past my shields. (By say... touching my shoulder or putting their feet on the back of my chair.) This doesn't actually damage the construct itself, but it does negate its effectiveness. Fun with human empathy/telepathy antennas. Now, if the construct comes in contact with the constructs of another psion they can interact badly. I had this trouble with my geochem professor until we both tweaked our shields so they didn't interfere with one another (and he stopped giving me near migraines in class). The issue you describe with your construct should become less frequent with practice, especially as you 'firm up' your programing techniques and, thereby, your constructs. ~The Devil's Advocate
