why is it when i ask questions and i use [glow=green,2,300]science fiction[/glow] as a source for understanding, i'm usually scolded or treated like a fool? isn't all science fiction based on seed of science? and don't the strangest of sources give way to the most original ideas? for instance, can't comic book science, usually distorted high school science, become more possible with psi?

Yes, I suppose it is based on science, but all in all, some guy/girl just made most of it up.

Good science fiction is heavily based in fact. The problem is, I'd only call maybe 10% of the sci-fi out there now "good" sci-fi. Don't take fiction and try to turn it into reality...adding psi into the equation doesn't automaticly solve every problem and make any goal obtainable.

Specifically in regards to psionic tendencies in science fiction. Some of them are about at the stage of say Jules Verne was when he was writing about modern science... Most are even less so, since, currently there is very little concrete anything to base the science of Psionics off of, at least if you are not a practicing psion.
The other reason for the reaction is much simpler: Blame it on the Dragon BallZ folk and those who want to be able to pull off what the "Talents" in Anne McCaffrey books got away with. There are enough people out there who honestly expect it to work EXACTLY that way right now, that it's better to avoid such comparisons unless they are made very carefully and very obviously clear to be simply conceptual comparisons.
