Its kind of rude to create accounts just to plug a link for your site.
But ask yourself this question: "What does my site offer that no other site on the internet does?"
If you can't answer that, perhaps you should rethink what your goals are. Sit down and really think about WHY you want to run a site. It isn't easy. It gets really, really hard sometimes. You WILL get busy, and you WILL neglect things. But can you recover from them? That is key to surviving. Most online communities dont last longer than a few months,simply because the administrator wanted to "feel the power" rather than actually contribute something.
So start thinking.

agreed. I don't have time to follow every link posted. You'll have to actually say something that makes me interested in seeing what the site is like.
