Then please state it as first hand experience NOT an absolute. I remember listening to No_One_2000 and he seems to have a different perspective on it. For him it was more of a direct application of a psionic force (if I'm remembering correctly, I caveat here and now.) And I've heard of both methods working, so I wouldn't say NEVER think of it as a force.
TK: I don't know. I've not given it a serious try yet. The possibilities abjectly terrify me given how the rest of my skills tend to explode to almost unmanageable levels once I break down the first barrier to using them.

I think you missed the point, Goliath. When I say "unmanageable" I mean it. I mean levels where it is beyond normal control. I've been through that with Empathy. I've been through it with Precog. I've been through it with Telepathy. The damage I could do with TK prior to getting it under control, frankly, scares me. This isn't a game. This is a question of who am I going to hurt if I get into TK and can't control it for a month or more?

Even if you are starting to fling things around in a crazy tornado, some what, you are still controlling it. If you get to the point where you get so mad, you punch someone in the face, you cant say "im so sorry, i wasn't in control", You still had some control over it But if you dont want to try it, go ahead, i respect peoples decisions

It's not a matter of a loss of temper style loss of control. The man who punches someone in a fit of temper still is culpable. The man who breaks things because he's in a seziure is not, nor is the man who grabs a hold of a high powered hose all by his lonesome and gets thrown around by it because he's not strong enough to control it.
If I wind up Geisting there are enough sharp pointy things in my room to make a REAL hazard to anyone around me. Everything ability I've 'unlocked' to this point has followed the same pattern: ability (even in projection) always exceeded control for a minimum of a month. I can still give my roommate and a few other headaches if I loose my temper and I'm not in the double projective shields of my room. That's why I HAVE those layers in my shields.

Cold psi? Isn't that just using psi to take energy away from a specific point in space? From what I know, there is no such thing as 'cold energy'. The lack of energy makes something cold.

You are correct. It is, specifically, a lack of heat energy.
