I started this thread for the novice,apprentice, master, and etc. What I need is for experienced or accomplished psion to share there way on learnin how to create shields,construct and etc. This so that begginers can find a method they relate to and suites them.


Remember the art of Understanding and Patience ties into psi as well as forum discussion, so if you lack that then simply visualize yourself constructing in another forum and so it shall be!!!

What are your specific questions, gaignun? Please note the art of Clarity of Speach preceeds understanding, and Obscurity leads to ignorance more than wisdom. In otherwords: Speak plainly or make it clear when you're being deliberately obscure.

Eschew sesquopedalian obfuscation, it is the epitome of dileterious degeneration in articulation. (Yes, that was suposed to be a pain to follow.)

As for learning how to make shields and other constructs, have you read Cullen's Energy manipulation article? If not please do so, then come and ask questions or ask for variations. You seem to have missed the point of the forum. People ask questions. We answer them. We share what we do with one another. What exactly do you want? We're not here to give you volumes and volumes of articles, just to help point you in the right direction. You have not been overly clear in what your exact purpose for this thread is. Your use of the language is unusual, and implies an authority I do not see where you assume you have it. That's my analysis, I look forward to your explainations, answers, and rebutals.

Something tells me that Gaignun wasn't looking for his questions to be answered. I think he made this forum as like an open discussion for people to talk about their shielding experiences and techniques so that others may learn and gather information from the posts. Maybe I'm wrong.

That's what I got from it too TC.

Me? Well, I know how to make psi-balls. My sheilds don't like to stay up as of yet - but I'm working on it. Slowly, but working. The only sheild I've been working on is an Empathy shield. I tried to program it to absorb Emotion and turn it into energy. At first I programmed it to give the evergy to me, but now... I'm going to have that energy reinforce the shield.

I like using traditional techniques in terms of how I direct energy that I'm programming into my shields. I love using the crown (top of the head) to shoot my energy out like a fountain. Then, after that, I just let it flow around me and I proceed to smooth out the deformities in the shields. That's just a common shields. Obviously more advanced ones (ie: thread shields, matrices, etc.) require more than just directing psi flow and programming it to defend.

Gaignun, please work on spelling and grammar. While we may all be familiar with and speak typo well, the misuse of homophones and general confusing punctuation and structure, make it difficult to determine your exact meaning, especially when you post in the wrong forum.

Thank you Ultimarage, TC. Still, as someone who's writing several articles, something a little more specific would be helpful for determining what he exactly wants. What he’s asked for is several pages of information from me alone.

For now I'll go with the short version: I learned by doing. That is I tried to make a psiball and I did. I reached for psi and it was there, then I sat back and took a 'look' at what I had done and what had worked and what hadn't worked and filed it away for later reference. I am an instinctive concept programmer, that is you form the CONCEPT of what you want in your mind (Visualization helps with this, especially for complicated or extremely abstract concepts.) and impress it upon the construct, or build it in as you are forming the construct. I use it mostly with my shields, straight psiballs are of minimal use to me at the moment. Concept programming allows a much faster turn around on that side of things, and avoids many of the loop holes in the step-by-step methods some use. If your concept is 'a brick wall' Then that implies a certain thickness, a certain level of resilience, and a completeness of protection without having to program in, step by step 'make it this strong, with this much energy to counter, and don't let anything at all filter in.'

*shrugs* In my case, Gaignun, I've got roughly 6-10 articles in the works explaining how I do what I do and defining what I do. That's why I asked for specific questions. I'm a consistency and detail nut. Part of what helps me do my job here well. What you asked for seems more the pervue of articles. (Providing detailed methods of dealing with psi.) What, specifically, did you hope to acomplish with this thread. (No I"m not being snide or sarcastic. You left this VERY broad, and to fully answer your 'need' would require several pages of details.)

I just visualize making the shield or construct... While I do that I start to "feel" them when they get to a certain point of strength.

That's interesting. I've never heard of any technique that merely requires visualization and nothing else. Are you sure your method is that simple?

mmm. I've seen people who worked primarily through that method. The rest was done on the subconscious level.

You asking me? Its not only visualization. It just depends on the construct... If I am trying to make a TK construct, I automatically feel repelling magnets. It all depends on the construct. Yes it is mainly visualization .
