Some places call it meditation, SubIgnition. Sounds like you're making some interesting progress. If you can get your mind to relax on purpose, it might help. It is, at very least, a good concentration exercise. ~The Devil's Advocate

That realization is somthing of a frightening one isn't it? Good luck. Definitely let us know how it goes. Oh, and note: You can still believe in psionics and be skeptical. It can actually be a healthy reaction.

_____, knows I am! Skepticism can help avoid thinking things are true or real when they aren't. It is good to look at all possibilities and critique things.

This thread was a good read. My sixteenth birthday was last weekend. Random irrelevant fact. While reading the new article on the front page, I realized something. This is real. This is without a doubt entirely real. I was skeptical before, but how could so many online communities spring up, so many people describing the same sensations, and similar methods? I'm going to put in half an hour a day starting tomorrow. And regarding what you said, I too was really skeptical about it at first. But one thing that I couldn't erase from my line of thought is the fact that there are so many people into this. I was thinking so hard looking for reasons as to why and how there are so many people into this. I even went to thinking (yes, it's an absurd idea) that this was a super well-planned out prank and that all the high-ups in all the communities were the ones who started the prank. It went on for a few weeks. It's only now that I felt that I had to eat up my pride and face the fact that I myself am interested to try something new and amuse myself with it since this is something that is so uncommon. So here I am in this board reading feedbacks and I started going to Psipog.com again salvaging as much info as I can. I am working now on manipulating energy by the way. It's hard to distinguish bio-feedback from real psi. At first I felt really excited feeling the tingling stuff but when I thought of testing it without thinking about manipulating psi, I still feel it, just as long as I keep that body part of mine in a certain position. My position when practicing this is like that when making a psiball. My hands are about 2 inches from each other and they're a bit opened. I was thinking it was just strain or some muscles feeling tired after I recreated the same feeling without attempting to actually do anything psi. Any suggestions besides me making sure that I have no doubts in psi. But I'm quite sure when all of us started, deep in the back of our head's there's still a small part of us that is skeptical about this. I need help.

i rekon you just need to keep practicing and then you will be able to disinguise whether its bio feed back or actual psi
Also you could try maybe making a psi construct to prove it because then you can feel the shape and know that there is actully something there, psi cone is my favorite

Also you might try to make a psiball remotely, say on the desk in front of you, rather than holding your hands in position hold your focus. Does that make sense? If others have more details on how to achieve this please speak up. My brain is not functioning to capacity today. I know Cullen has taught this procedure before. I can remember how to do it, but not transfer it to words. This would take out the sensations from holding your hands in the same position for a while. You should then be able to sense a difference in the area where the psiball is vs. the area around it.

Talk about a blast from the past.
It's interesting the kind of things you rediscover when you Google a really old username.
So, five years after the fact, what have I learned? I've learned that as much as I want this kind of thing to be real, my skepticism has to override my desires.
I will continue to want mind tricks to be real. It was an entertaining distraction from what at the time was an exceptionally depressing existence, and even for that I am thankful. However, five years has passed and I have seen no compelling evidence for the existence of these effects. I strongly feel that, given the population of Earth, and the prevalence of spirituality and activities like meditation, there would be documented incidences of psychokinetic effects occurring by now if it was possible to stumble upon.
I think it's exceedingly likely that all this is just an inoffensive illusion of the brain, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't keep your eyes open.
Sincerely,
subignition
