Hey I was thinking last night when I was practicing Psi-Balls and came up with a theory. I thought well what if anyone who is good at Psi-Balls made two, one at the base of each foot, then wouldn't they float if they made the Psi-Balls dense enough?

This is a discussion we have had in depth many many many times. In theory it is possible only with ForceBalls. These require a significant amount of ability in tk. The conclusion was while theoretically possible, the notion is not in the least bit practical. If others would care to re-hash the entire discussion, go ahead. I do not. I will attempt to locate one of the old threads on the subject (assuming it was not lost on one of the inbetween forums).

**Search complete. The threads were lost. I still don't have time right now to re-hash the entire discussion however.

Summary:
1) Psiballs without TK do not exert force.
2) Psiballs with TK are Force Bubbles.
3) You weigh MUCH more than a psiwheel.
4) Exerting force perpendicular to Normal Force (Gravitational force) is easier than exerting force directly oppsoing Normal Force. (Newtonian physics.)
5) Rainsong is a powerful Telekinetic.
5.a.) Using this method. Rainsong created a force bubble and stood on it.
5.b) She was successfully off the ground for a small number of seconds. (The distance that was reported to me was 2 inches.)
5.c) After which she fell to the ground breaking her ankle because the force could not be exerted evenly enough.
Basically, it's not worth the effort and you have to be of phenominal skill to have any hope of repeating even Rainsong's broken ankle. (By the by. I wouldn't recomend the broken ankle. They are very painful.)

Phamous phtase (in Russian, dont know in English): "Nauka trebujet zhertv!". And I think I had a thread of mine on this. As wolfdancer sad, this was discussed many many times. DA, are there any pictures or videos of her doing that? Not being skeptic, it's just very interesting... PsiNewbie90, as people sad youwill need to know TK very well and have alot of energy to make a ForceBubble (TK construct) to levitate something as heavy as a person! Spend like an hour or a half an hour on that ForceBouble . No practical for most people anyways...

Confuded on Rainsong: You would do well to talk to HER. Last I heard she was occasionally on the PSC chat rooms. There would be medical records for the broken ankle. Also I have crossreferences from multiple people (All reliable all consistent) who heard HER tell the same story. She is a highly respected member of the online psionic community. She has been accurate and consistent and, as far as anyone can tell, HONEST about her personal experiences. We have no reason to doubt a factual (rather than analytical) account from someone whose credibility is already established (it has been for decades). She was not drawing massive conclusions about it. She simply said. "I did this... This was the result." It was not a preposterous claim given the level of telekinesis she is widely accepted to have (Tentatively she is the strongest, or at the VERY least the most experienced Telekinetic on the online comunity of which I am aware.)
On energy: I can gather all the energy I am capable of handling in under a minute. What is this 'hour to hour and a half' you think is required.

The 'hour to hour and a half' I just thought for concentrating and puting alot alot of energy to it... But I dont realy know if thats required to do on a high level. Just thought of the weight you have to levitate and the amount of energy... Sorry about that...
"You would do well to talk to HER" - I am not shure that I should speak to her... I am 14 and a newbie... Why would she waist her precious time on me... BTW, where does she live? Thanks.

Physical location? No clue. The PSC chat room is the best place to look for online presence. I'm not sure of her screen name there (it's not Rainsong). And from all accounts she is quite friendly to inexperienced psions if they're willing to listen to her and be polite. She enjoyes helping out from all the accounts I have recieved.

Rainsong lives somewhere in Canada if I remember correctly, she uses 'Rainturtle' on PSC and tends to get on there sometime between 9 pm - 12 am EST

Well, why do you need to start off levitating a person, get it strong enough so that you can sit a piece of paper on it (which is probably a huge feat within itself!) and then progress to a show or an eraser or something I don't know.

This thread was long dead, it really didn't need to be resurected, this could have been covered in your Forcebubble thread. Note: I doubt you'd be able to create a force bubble to do that if you can't do it yourself without one.

Ankles are notoriously easy to break. You can break it if you twist it wrong. If it's a joint break (vs a bone break) A bad enough sprain can result in a joint break. Leverage can work for or against you and I don't know how she landed on it.

...well i guess i cant really say "it was only two inches" because neither of us know how she landed exactly, but if she landed straight down with only the force of gravity, and her feet were straight down not twisted in some kind of manner, i doubt her ankle would have broken o.o

True, but given that part of the reason she fell (In the original version I heard) was a balance issue, my guess is it was not a 'simple' straight fall. It doesn't take much force to do bad things to a joint if you land wrong, or people wouldn't wind up with bad sprains from hitting a half inch rock wrong when they're running...
